About
With over a decade of experience, Ms. Goldman is a skilled legal practitioner whose practice focuses on real estate transactions, estate planning and family wealth transfer, kids protection planning, and outsourced general counsel services for small businesses. She opened the doors of Goldman Law Group with one goal in mind: to provide critical legal services to her community by delivering exceptional results in an approachable and convenient format.
Prior to starting Goldman Law Group, Ms. Goldman was on the litigation and trial teams for clients across the state ranging from Fortune 500 companies to locally-owned small businesses and individuals. In addition, Ms. Goldman has experience advising clients in every phase of business, ranging from entity formation, the acquisition and disposition of assets and ownership interests, and the wind down process.
Ms. Goldman’s experience also includes three years as General Counsel for a mortgage lender with a national presence, handling all aspects of the company’s litigation in jurisdictions across the country and negotiating critical business agreements. Her experience as in-house legal counsel makes Ms. Goldman uniquely sensitive to the necessity of balancing legal risk management with the operational and practical demands of her clients’ businesses.
Ms. Goldman is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Texas and the federal courts of the Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas. Ms. Goldman graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School in 2008, where she served as an articles editor on the Baylor Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a B.S. in Biology.
When she isn’t practicing law, Kristy loves spending time with her husband Kyle and two daughters exploring their beautiful hometown of Austin, Texas, as well as reading, traveling, and dabbling in home decorating. She regularly tortures herself at her local gym and is an active member of her community and church.
